Communications Officer
The CCRC Officer Election Results are below. Thanks to everyone who participated in the election by casting their vote. This election marked a milestone in CCRC history as we have successfully completed the first web site election. Today's elections showed that more than twice the number of members participated
on line than has ever participated in any previous club meeting.
Clearly this record breaking turn out is evidence that the decision
making process at ccrc is now in the hands of a large representation
of our club. The greater the population of voters who participate, the
greater the chance is that we will make decisions that serve the best interest of our club. When
you see Alan Anderson , Keith Strickland ,or Robert Cortes at the
field please take the time to thank them for volunteering to serve as
officers. Together we will do our best to keep ccrc a safe place to
enjoy flying.

For this weekend's meeting on 1/17/2009 at 12:00 PM. It is very important that everyone that is capable, to come to the meeting. Some very important decisions need to be made by the club population. These decisions will shape the club for 2009 and help ensure the club's existence going forward in the future. The meeting location will be at the club in the pavilion which will be enclosed and heated for your comfort. Be sure to bring something to fly, there will be no flying during the meeting, but before and after the meeting you can fly to your heart's content. We look forward to seeing everyone at the field.

Online Dues Payment is here!!At the request of many of the club members you can now pay your membership dues online! This new feature was put into place to make things easier for you (the club members) and to ease the burden of keeping the club roster up to date (the board members). In order to facilitate this there are a few things you should be aware of: - If you previously had a user id at ccrc.info, that user id was removed. We apologize that this had to happen but there was no way to positively match the information from the website to the information in the roster.
- All club members as of October 6, 2008 have had new accounts created at ccrc.info
- Your username to login to the website is whatever name you put on your membership form. For example, if you put your name as John A. Doe, your username will be JohnADoe (not case sensitive, no spaces). If your name has an apostrophe in it the apostrophe was removed. It's recommended that you change your username to somethig that will be easy for you to remember.
- Your password will be emailed to you. Once logged in you should change your password.
- If you have several family members that are members of CCRC and you share an email address. When you attempt to update your profile, you will encounter errors because the email address for each user must be unique. If you are not able to provide another email address but your other information needs to be changed please contact a board member to get your information updated.
- If you did not have an email address listed in the club roster. You will not be able to modify your profile information until you add a unique email address
Website Features Many new features have been added to the website. These features are listed below: - Online Dues payment using PayPal
- New modern look and feel
- Upgraded Photo Gallery to ease navigation
- Contact any board member via the Contact Us page
- All club roster information is stored in your profile
- Enhanced polling system for issues which require a club vote
- Adjustable font sizes. Just click the
A+ at the top of the page to increase the font, A- to decrease the
font and A to put it back to default.
- Latest News and Most Popular Pages listed at the bottom of the site
If you encounter any issues with the new website, please contact Keith Strickland to get them corrected. We hope you enjoy the new website. See you at the field!
